Watched it subbed. Will be watching it again, dubbed, with my daughter as they're released. Enjoyed it thoroughly.

I never posted that I was watching it,but I finished Gaikotsu Shotenin Honda-san. It's a chill and goofy slice-of-life about a skeleton working in a book store. It was equal parts funny and informative and the shorter 10-minute episodes meant it was easier to sit down and watch whenever. It wasn't anything big or epic, but it wasn't trying to be so I really couldn't have asked for much more other than perhaps some better art. The art-style is a little underwhelming, and the character designs of "identical uniform with a mask" means the cast other than the titular Honda-san are easily forgettable. I ended up grading it a 6/10,but bumped it up to a 7 on reconsideration as while Honda-san wormed his way into my heart with his escapades of uncomfortably selling yaoi books to over-zealous fujoshi and extremely wholesome ED,it didn't quite hit hard enough to be a standout. Would still recommend to fans of humorous slice-of-life anime and people who liked the idea of short-form series like Pop Team Epic who thought that series was obnoxious.

I also finished Mob Psycho 100 2. It existed. I should have a greater view of this considering how much I liked season 1,but man season 2 just felt like a big nothing burger with a side of Presbyterian ice cream. There's a bad guy who wants to take over the world because he's bad and then doesn't because friendship. The established characters make their cameos to do nothing of interest and new characters are nearly non-existent. The plot is entirely underwhelming and the change to a more shonen battle feel doesn't do the series any favors given that it doesn't have the fleshed-out cast to support it. I originally gave it a 7/10,but lowered my score to a 5 on reconsideration when I thought about just how vacant and boring this season is comparatively. If you enjoyed season 1 you'll be chomping at the bit to see how it wraps up and probably already have, but this season just did not do it for me.

Lastly, while not technically a series,I caught an anime short by the name of Tabi no Robo kara, which I definitely did not stumble across entirely by serendipity while digging for porn. This short apparently doesn't actually exist as not only was it not available on Kiss Anime,it also has no page on MAL despite other, shorter, shorts like Shelter having a presence on both sites. I ended up finding it uploaded to Youtube where it has somehow escaped getting taken down despite both being an unauthorized upload of the short and also containing nudity.

Coming in at only 9 minutes, the short follows the misadventure of a hitchhiking robot named Robowo on his quest to photograph sexy girls for his blog as he allegedly travels to the big city for maintenance and the hjinks that ensue. The animation and music quality are surprisingly good, like should've been a full-length movie good, and while not long enough to have any big jokes, the entire short is light-hearted and comical throughout with a good dash of the naughty stuff. It's short and sweet and worth a watch for a good goof,my only disappointment with it was actually the fact that there wasn't any more. I couldn't score it since it doesn't exist, but I probably would've given it an 8. For an unheard of short that isn't real it's far better than it had any right to be and you can watch the whole thing in a sitting from the comfort of it's safe little hiding spot.
