The origin of the name: InfamySoulz, is actually pretty simple. I thought souls sounded cool and being infamy is also cool (not really). Infamy + souls = InfamySoulz
- Favorite Movie:
- Fast & Furious
I’m Chinese, born and residing in Canada. I’m not much of a talker, and might come off as a bit standoffish, but know I mean no ill will.
I’m just a high-schooler who enjoys art. I started getting into art around March of 2016, I’m self-taught, and was inspired to draw after watching an anime. So, you could say I’m pretty much a fledgling of an “artist”. I personally don’t prefer to be called an artist. It makes me uncomfortable and slightly ashamed. I haven’t invested enough time in art for myself to acknowledge my own efforts - This is just a personal perspective I have on myself and I do NOT apply this to others when evaluating commitment, experience, etc. I hope that I will become consistent and proficient in art one day and will keep working towards that goal.
Some things I enjoy are:
While I do love anime, I'm not overly obsessed.
- Being Alone
Now that sounds dark and depressing, doesn't it? Well, it's not. I prefer to be alone mainly because when I'm isolated from others I understand things that would normally be obscured while engaging in conversation. Sounds kinda weird, huh? Oh yeah, I guess being slightly introverted is another reason.
Gaming has always been a pastime for me since a really young age. My cousin and older brother introduced me to it, the first gaming console I ever used was a PlayStation 2. While gaming will always be a fond memory to look back to, I don't know how much time I'm willing to dedicate to it now or in the future. But I do imagine it’ll always be one of my past times, the only thing I think will fluctuate is the amount of time I invest in it.
I mean, who doesn’t? I don’t really have a genre I like, but I do like meaningful songs or catchy ones, I usually don’t like songs played on the radio, especially newer ones. To me, they’re becoming less and less appealing.
Reading a book is something I always look forward to, I don’t particularly have a preference in genre, as long as it’s written well I’ll probably like it.
Another hobby of mine is writing, I just recently started doing this, I haven’t written much and don’t share any of my works with anyone, but maybe if I make something I’m really proud of I’ll share it with my friends and family.
Things I detest
Hate 'em, nuff said.
Judging people prematurely because of things like appearance, background, nationality, ethnicity, hobbies, rumors, etc. Is just foolish.
Detest may be too strong a word for this one. I wouldn't say I "detest" trends I just find them annoying. Needless to say, I usually don't follow trends at all and only discover them through my friends, or my brother. I just find it dumb that so many people are so easily influenced to do something just because the general populace believe it's "in".
